NZUs hit a fresh high as they traded on Carbon Match today at $24 for the first time ever - a first since the inception of NZ's emission trading scheme. While buyers initially hid their interest, with best bids of no higher than $22,75 shown, volume that was posted at up to $24 ultimately got picked up. About 130,000 tonnes moved through in fairly quick succession across a range of $23.75 - $24.00, with volume stil available at market close from $24.10, but not a lot, Spot.
