One giant step for New Zealand, one small step for mankind. Climate Change Minister Paula Bennett announced earlier today that NZ has ratified the Paris Agreement. She noted that ratifying early guarantees New Zealand a seat at the decision-making table on matters that affect the Agreement at the next UN climate change meeting in Marrakech in November this year.
