New Zealand broke with Europe, the Pacific Islands and Australia in a key vote on a new price on climate pollution from international shipping over the weekend.
The pricing scheme has been in the works at the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), the UN agency which governs maritime safety and environmental concerns.
