NZ ETS auction results Q3

The Q3 NZ ETS took place at midday today and results are now available here.

The auction has declined again - no buyers turned up today to bid, leaving today's pool of 7,600,700 to roll over to the December auction, where 11,125,700 NZUs will be offered in one go, not including the Cost Containment Reserve.

Since the March Q1 auction, NZU spot prices on secondary markets have fallen well short of the Government's own $64 floor.  So today, the Confidential Reserve Price was not applicable.
